How, when and where ?

Arrangements for artists exhibiting at Untergrombach

1. Every artist has the opportunity to exhibit 3-5 works of art (sculptures, paintings, photography, mixed media, etc.). It is up to the artist, whether he/she would like to add a piece dealing with the subject of the exhibition : "frogs are human, too". The decision who is permitted to exhibit is made by an independent jury.
2. All pieces are insured during transport and the exhibition period.
3. All pieces may be sold. 15% of the sales price go towards the frog protection project, and further 15% go towards the organizers of the festival to cover expenses.
4. Every artist is going to be presented to the public individually. These presentations will be financed by Untergrombach.
5. The artists that contribute to the topic, frogs are human, too, are automatically included in a competition. The winner receives DM 6000,-. The winner up receives DM 2000,-, and the third position will be awarded DM 1000,-.
6. These three artists will be invited to participate in the Summer of Art the following year.
7. Applicants should include a short biography, as well as photos of the works of art that will be exhibited, until the 15.6.99.

1. Every artist can exhibit works dealing with the topic "Frogs are human, too" at the Internet gallery of the Untergrombach Art Summer. The works of art must be installed in the Web gallery until July 15, 1999.
2. The works exhibited shall include a short biography of the artist.
3. If the works are to be visualized locally via large-scale screen, please send them via floppy disk or CD to the organizers until June 30, 1999.
4. All works presented on Internet will participate in the prize awarding. The winner will be identified by the frequency of clicking on his or her works until 4 weeks before the next Art Summer at the latest. Without possibility of recourse to legal action.
5. The winner is given a prize of DM 5,000.00 and will be invited to exhibit his or her works of art during the next Untergrombach Art Summer in the year 2000.
6. Artists that wish to sell their work of art are welcome to do so (please attach prices!). 10% of the price of sale will go towards the frog protection project, 5% will be deducted to cover costs.
7. Sales will be dealt with exclusively by the Summer of Art organizers. Should an artist be represented by an agent, the organizers wish to be informed before hand.
8. Artists that conclude sales privately, will be excluded from the internet gallery.

1. Youngsters up to 18 years old are welcome to present their work of art, dealing with the topic of the Summer of Art.
2. Within the kiddies competition various awards + up to DM 1000,- are available.
3. The competition will be concluded by an independent jury.
